Tipi Raisers
cOVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS fOR VOLUNTEER TRIPS AND tIPI rAISERS ACTIVITIES

JOINING TIPI RAISERS SAFELY IN 2022:

In accordance with current CDC guidelines and in order to keep those we serve - and our volunteers - safe, we require proof of up-to-date vaccinations for all participants in Tipi Raisers activities. According to the CDC, you are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines when you have received all doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible.

Volunteers and participants who are not fully up to date with their latest booster will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test (PCR tests look for pieces of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in the nose, throat, or other areas in the respiratory tract to determine if the person has an active infection). The test will need to be no more than 72 hours old and the volunteer will need to have quarantined from the time the test was performed.

Volunteers will be asked to report any symptoms, including loss of smell and taste daily.

Decisions about masks will be determined on a trip by trip basis.

Sanitizer and hand-washing will be strictly adhered to.

Limits on numbers of participants will be determined on a trip by trip basis.

We ask that volunteers please be respectful of these guidelines as we seek to protect the Tipi Raisers community and tribal populations who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For all Pine Ridge related events and activities we will be following the below COVID-19 safety protocols as set forth by the Oglala Sioux Covid Task Force.

For all Hopi activities we will be following the below COVID-19 safety protocols as set forth by the Hopi Tribe.

For all Pine Ridge activities we will be following the below COVID-19 safety protocols as set forth by the Oglala Sioux Covid Task Force.
