WHAT WE DO
GEN7 Gathering - Montgomery, TX

A Multicultural Youth Gathering at the Nazario/Camelot Ranch - June 10, 11 & 12

We are excited to offer this gathering of Native and non-Native youth! Youth who attend will establish  mutual understanding, make new friends, and learn about each other's culture, history and current realities.

The gathering will include a combination of cultural presentations, courageous conversations, service projects and a variety of fun activities - as it is our belief that it is through working AND playing together that lifelong bonds are forged.

Event Details:

  • Open to youth - by invitation - ages 12 - 22
  • Chaperones ages 23 + are welcome
  • Lodging in tipis and meals included
  • There is no cost to attend
  • This event is limited to thirty youth on an invitation only basis.
  • Invited youth may register for the event here.

Cost:

In alignment with the Indigenous wisdom of reciprocity and gift economies, this event is offered at no charge. We believe that those who join us on our mission receive the gift that is inherent in that experience and that they will give back to the best of their ability - in this way, we can all stay in balance.

Grants and donations subsidize all Tipi Raiser's activities including our Gen7 Youth Leadership events.
Your donation is deeply appreciated!

Gen7 Mission:

To convene, mobilize and empower Native and non-Native young leaders; building relationships, bridging cultural gaps and providing the tools and resources necessary to bring awareness to pressing issues and make genuine change in the world around them.
