hOW TO HELP
#GivingTuesday

This #GivingTuesday, our community made a major impact!

Give to #GivingTuesday
Picture
On #GivingTuesday - the global day of generosity in which nonprofits and their supporters around the world rally around causes important to them - our community of supporters showed up in a big way!

We surpassed our goal of raising $5,000 and raised $13,897!  Five thousand of which was matched dollar for dollar for a GivingTuesday total of $18,897!

Thank you to all who gave in
support of our work in Indigenous communities across the four central themes of the Tipi Raisers mission: Indigenous Wisdom, Gen7 Youth, Reconciliation, and Alleviating Poverty.

3 Ways You Can Take Action this GivingTuesday:

  1. Donate to the Tipi Raisers on GivingTuesday HERE! Last year, the most commonly donated amount to the Tipi Raisers on GivingTuesday was $25.
  2. Use this matching gift search engine to see if your employer will match your GivingTuesday gift! The tool will provide you with information regarding minimum and maximum match as well as steps on how to get started.
  3. Share our fundraising page and our Facebook posts with your networks ahead of GivingTuesday! Utilizing your voice on social media is a great way to support the work we do in Indigenous communities.

Other ways to maximize your impact this GivingTuesday:

Recurring donations can sustain your impact beyond GivingTuesday- consider signing up here. Even donating $5/month is a consistent way to advance the Tipi Raiser's mission!

The funds we raise on GivingTuesday and throughout the end-of-year giving season will enable us to continue:

  • Bringing Native and Non-Native youth together to build leadership skills and bridge cultures.
  • Offering employment, internships and skill building to Tribal members.
  • Sustaining ongoing provisions of warmth, housing repairs, food and supplies.
  • Providing volunteers opportunities to do meaningful service work in Indigenous communities.
  • Advancing our Reconciliation through Education efforts with activities like the Lakota Language Class as well as online and in person cultural experiences and reconciliation dialogues.
We are grateful for your support!
