We are a multicultural community who believe that the wisdom of Indigenous Peoples from around the world can benefit the Earth and all of humanity at this critical time on the planet. This belief informs our decisions and shapes our approach aimed at alleviating poverty in the Native communities within which we work.
We work in direct partnership with those we serve in Native communities. We aim always to center their perspective and support their needs, while empowering youth and providing non-Native volunteers multiple opportunities to work and play alongside those we serve. Inevitably, courageous conversations emerge, leading to mutual understanding and an organic evolution of reconciliation.
In alignment with the Indigenous wisdom of reciprocity and gift economies we offer our events, volunteer service groups and Gen7 youth activities at no cost. We believe that those who join us on our mission receive the gift that is inherent in that experience and that they will give back to the best of their ability. In this way, we can all stay in balance.
The generosity of our partners, through donations and grants, funds our humanitarian aid, service trips and Gen7 youth leadership and development program.
We offer our sincere gratitude for any support you can offer. Please contact Lori@thetipiraisers.org for ways to get involved.
OUR MISSION: Through a variety of collaborative and multicultural projects, we strive to alleviate conditions of poverty, honor Indigenous wisdom, reconcile our shared history with the Peoples of the First Nations and empower youth with the leadership skills needed to affect social change in their communities.
