WHO WE ARE
COMMUNITIES SERVED

COMMUNITIES SERVED

The Tipi Raisers | Ti Ikciya Pa Slata Pi has its origins on the Pine Ridge Reservation, amongst the Oglala Lakota People. In recent years, we have expanded our program area through community partnerships on the Hopi and Navajo Nations, while continuing to engage deeply with programs and connections on Pine Ridge. We have also collaborated with partners and projects on the Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute Reservations, and have worked alongside community members of many tribal affiliations through Gen7 and Indigenous Wisdom programming.

The three reservations we serve are complex and beautiful places, each with a deep history, a vibrant culture, a challenging set of current realities, and a hopeful array of community-based solutions. Numbers and figures can only express a surface-level understanding of the stories, conditions, and people who comprise each of these unique and resilient communities - explore the "About" pages for the Pine Ridge, Hopi, and Navajo Reservations for a holistic overview of life in the areas we serve.
